On the occasion of Tomb Raider composer Nathan McCree‘s Composer Buffet Reception in Hatfield for his album “The Tomb Raider Suite“, official Lara Croft model Alison Carroll slips back into the iconic brown shorts and turquoise tank top to reprise her role as Lara Croft.
The Tomb Raider Suite
“The Tomb Raider Suite” is the original Tomb Raider music by Nathan McCree, extended and re-recorded with a live orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. The album will consist of the iconic music from the Tomb Raider I, II and III games and has been funded on Kickstarter last year by 2.615 wonderful fans who pledged a total of 194.120 £.

Although the official release date for the Tomb Raider Suite album has been moved to August, 1st, the digital download will be made available shortly after the London Composer Buffet.
Composer Buffet Reception
Two Composer Buffet Receptions will be held to celebrate the album’s release, one in San Francisco, the other in Hatfield, close to London.
The Composer Buffet Reception in the UK will be held at the prestigious Hatfield House on Saturday 28th April 2018. As many of you will know, the outside scenes of the two Tomb Raider movies starring Angelina Jolie were shot at Hatfield House (Croft Manor) which is Lara’s home in each of the two films. This makes it the perfect location for an unforgettable evening strongly connected to Lara Croft. Winston himself will welcome the attendees with a glass of champagne and he will also provide them with their prize draw entry ticket to win one of the exclusive Gold Ultimate Edition Albums of The Tomb Raider Suite. Alison Carroll will reprise her role as Lara Croft for this special event. Besides that, Shelley Blond, the original voice of Lara Croft, will honour attendees with her presence.
The Composer Buffet Reception in San Francisco will be held at the incredible Legion of Honor on Saturday the 14th July 2018. Winston himself will welcome the attendees with a glass of champagne and he will also provide them with their prize draw entry ticket to win one of the exclusive Gold Ultimate Edition Albums of The Tomb Raider Suite. Jill De Jong, official Lara Croft model for Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, will reprise her role as Lara Croft for this special event to celebrate The Tomb Raider Suite.

Alison Carroll returns as Lara Croft
For the CBR in London, the beautiful Alison Carroll, the official (and last) Lara Croft model for Tomb Raider: Underworld in 2008, returns as Lara Croft and is “Coming Home” to Croft Manor and beloved butler Winston Smith in Chapter 1 of the video series which promotes the Composer Buffet Reception in Hatfield:
Alison, born 1985 in London, England was the final and last official Lara Croft model. What made Alison really stand out were her incredible gymnastic skills. She trained at the Urdang Academy in Musical Theatre and graduated in 2007 with a distinction. She also represented the United Kingdom as a professional display gymnast. She is a teenagers’ gymnastics coach, choreographing the winning junior team at the British National Championships. Besides that, since 2007 Alison has been a registered actress.
Not much has changed since 2008, Alison still focuses a lot on her gymnastics, acting and coaching. Her recent projects include being “She-Hulk” for Universal Studios and doing the mo-cap work for Aloy in Horizon Zero Dawn. She also founded Lightning Gymnastics.
The second chapter of the video series was released today. It features heroine Lara Croft who is “Locating The Artefact” with the help of her beloved butler Winston and a mysterious map in Croft Manor. Besides that, the video shows the Manor’s interior design in beautiful shots. Nathan McCree’s track “Lara” from the Tomb Raider Suite accentuates the beautiful scenery.
