In December 2016, the world premiere of “Tomb Raider Live in Concert” took place at the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre in London. Now, another concert has been announced.
The second live orchestral performance of “Tomb Raider Live in Concert” will take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London on September 17, 2018. The concert features the iconic music that helped shape and create Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider franchise. It will be performed by a full orchestra and choir along with visual clips from the original games.
In this extraordinary concert, the music of the Tomb Raider games will be celebrated with a performance of “The Tomb Raider Suite”, written by Nathan McCree. The Tomb Raider Suite is based on McCree’s original compositions from Tomb Raider (1996), Tomb Raider II, and Tomb Raider III. The original tracks were extended and re-recorded with a live orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in February this year.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased here.
The eagerly awaited album of “The Tomb Raider Suite” will be released in August on digital, CD, and vinyl. More information on the album can be found here along with the option to pre-order a copy or some fancy merchandise.
