Inroduction
This official fansite and its pretty successful corresponding Facebook page was founded over three years ago. As some of you may know, the fansite was named “Rise of the Tomb Raider Web” because the author and webmiss rediscovered her love for Tomb Raider with ROTTR after she was pretty disappointed by Tomb Raider (2013).
Over the past few years almost 17.000 fans made “Rise of the Tomb Raider Web” what it is today – a number one source and fansite for fans of both the present and past Tomb Raider games. Because the content on the website and Facebook page has changed to being very diversified and now covers the entire Tomb Raider universe, and the classic Tomb Raider fansite “Tomb Raider Reloaded” has recently been added to the website as a stand-alone category, the decision was made to change the name of the fansite from “Rise of the Tomb Raider Web” to “Tomb Raider Web”.
There will be no serious changes with regard to the content, topics and so on. But I would love to know what you, the wonderful fans who keep the fansite alive, would like to see on Tomb Raider Web in the future.
So please head over to Facebook and take part in the giveaway to celebrate the new name and to make as much fans as possible aware of the changes.
The Contest
The official fansite “Rise of the Tomb Raider Web” will be renamed in “Tomb Raider Web”. To celebrate the name change and make the fans aware of the changes, and especially giving the fans a chance to sound off in the comments what they would like to see more (or less) on Tomb Raider Web, there will be a giveaway hosted on Facebook. The only thing you’ll have to do is “like” the post on Facebook, and leave a comment explaining what you like/dislike about ROTTR Web and what you would like to see being featured more or less on both the fansite and the website. For an extra entry, you can optionally share the contest post with your friends on Facebook.
What You Can Win
One lucky fan will win a Steam code (PC) that includes six Tomb Raider games, namely:
- Tomb Raider (2013),
- Tomb Raider: Underworld,
- Tomb Raider: Anniversary,
- Tomb Raider: Legend,
- Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light,
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
The contest will end on Sunday, July 30 at 23:59 CET. The winner will be chosen via random.org and will be notified on Facebook. The fansite’s name will be changed from “Rise of the Tomb Raider Web” to “Tomb Raider Web” on July 31, 2017.
