Lara Croft Returns to Comics

Dark Horse Comics has just announced a new Tomb Raider miniseries created by a brand-new creative team. Tomb Raider: Survivor’s Crusade” will deal with the mysteries behind the death of Lara’s father.

Here’s what the publisher said in a press release about the comic’s storyline:

“Lara Croft has unfinished business. After facing Trinity in Siberia in Rise of the Tomb Raider, she’s driven to unravel the mystery behind her father’s death. After pushing her training to the limit and following clues that lead to more questions than answers, Lara is prepared to put everything on the line to uncover the truth.”

In the latest Tomb Raider installment by Crystal Dynamics, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft finds out that her father didn’t commit suicide but was murdered by Trinity. He was too close to unveiling their darkest secrets, and Trinity decided to get Richard Croft out of their way.

The brand-new miniseries is written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, Ashley A. Woods is responsible for the art and bringing Lara to life, whereas Michael Atiyeh dedicates himself to colouring. The series will consist of four issues with covers drawn by Hannah Fisher.

Tomb Raider: Survivor’s Crusade #1 will hit shelves on November 22, 2017. Have a look at the full cover of the first issue below.
