Have you ever wanted to know more about the places Lara Croft visits during her adventures? Yes? I’ve got good news for you then!
The fansite “History & Geography in Tomb Raider” has just started a same-named YouTube series. It is described as:
‘a fanmade documentary web series that takes you on a journey through the iconic “Tomb Raider” franchise, visiting historical locations and unraveling mythical enigmas encountered by its famous protagonist, Lara Croft.’
The first episode deals with the original Tomb Raider (1996) and also contains parts of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Shelley Blond, the first voice-actress for Lara Croft, narrates through the episode, which will leave you with the feeling Lara Croft herself has just retold you her very own and very first adventure!
The episode appears to be made highly professional and with a lot of passion. The second episode, probably dealing with the history & geography in Tomb Raider II, is being made right now. Of course Nathan McCree’s original Tomb Raider music plays a part in this episode, too! The lesson is clear: “History & Geography in Tomb Raider” is a fantastic fan project that deserves a lot of attention! The work and passion behind this is incredible!
