Celebrate 20 years of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider at this year’s Gamescom from August 17-21 in Cologne, Germany! Throughout the week you’ll have the chance to take an active part on a daily TombRaider20 Trivia with big prizes on the line, a cosplay gathering, and a Q&A with original composer Nathan McCree for an update on his concert, and Senior Community Manager & 20 Years of Tomb Raider author Meagan Marie.
Square Enix will have a massive presence at the show, including a consumer experience (B31 & B41) and Final Fantasy XIV Battle Arena (C51) in Hall 9, and a Square Enix Products booth in Hall 5 (E12).
You will also be able to take some nice pictures with the official Gamescom Cosplay Ambassadors – Lena Lara and Lady Crossader – dressed as classic & rebooted Lara Croft . If you plan on attending the Tomb Raider cosplay gathering, please RSVP on Facebook to keep up with details, and be sure to carefully read the Gamescom 2016 prop and weapon policy!
Besides that, I, Ani Croft and webmiss of ROTTR Web, will be attending Gamescom on Saturday, August 20, as well. I might be there on Sunday, too, I’ll let you know as soon as possible. Shoot me a short message, if you’d like to meet up and chat a little!
