There’s no better way to inaugurate our brand-new section “Tomb Raider Reloaded” than with news like this:
A Tomb Raider I PC remaster might come true! Behind this project is no other than Realtech VR, developer of the classic Tomb Raider I game for Android and iOS ports. Realtech VR uploaded a demo video of said remaster to Youtube a few days ago, that shows us almost five minutes of the glorious re-mastered first Tomb Raider game from 1996 with OpenGL 4.5, SSAO (Ambient Occlusion), Bloom post process, 16x AA, and Full HD (1080p) at 60fps (while the original game runs at 30 fps).
Since this project is still not in the bag yet, we’d kindly ask you to show your interest in that classic Tomb Raider remaster and share the video with your friends! Let’s spread the word a little and make this happen!
And wouldn’t it be wonderful to have Nathan McCree’s (composer of the original soundtrack of Tomb Raider I-III) incredible extended versions of several Tomb Raider I tracks right from his Tomb Raider Suite, which premiered live in concert in December 2016 in London, featured in Realtech VR‘s remaster?
