As part of a larger showcase of upcoming anime series and productions, Netflix also teased the return of Lara Croft with a first look at the upcoming anime series.
The heroine returns to screens in “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” sometime in 2024 – this time in the form of an animated series that follows the events of “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” and aims to bridge the gap between the reboot trilogy and the classic Lara Croft storyline. This is also now known as the “unification” of Lara Croft.
The series is produced by Legendary Television and Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics. Lara will be voiced by none other than Hayley Atwell. Earl Baylon also returns as the voice actor for “Jonah.”
